Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio is a Neofolk/Dark Ambient Swedish band, founded in 1993 by Tomas Pettersson and Chelsea Krook. At this time the band was called Ordo Equilibrio. Together they released 3 albums: Reaping the Fallen, The First Harvest (1995), The Triumph of Light … and Thy Thirteen Shadows of Love (1997) and Conquest, Love & Self Perseverance (1998).

Then in 2001 Chelsea Krook left and hand over to Rose-Marie Larsen. From that moment on Ordo Equilibrio became Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio. Together they released no less than 8 albums: Make Love, and War: The Wedlock Of Roses (2000), Make Love, and War: The Wedlock Of Equilibrium (2001), Make Love, And War: The Wedlock Of Roses, And Equilibrium (2003), Cocktails Carnage Crucifixion and Pornography (2003), Somewhere Between Equilibrium and Nihilism (2005) in partnership with Spiritual Front, Apocalips (2006), ONANI: Practice Makes Perfect (2009) and Songs 4 Hate & Devotion (2010).

Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio likes to broach ambivalent subject such as love and war and to gather topics such as pornography, BDSM, or Christian symbols. They perfectly succeed into mixing those polemic topics to Dark Ambient and Neofolk.

Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio has developed its own style through the years and succeeds into taking on new forms.
