Narin Yalnizlik
Released: 05 – 12 – 2015
Narin Yalnizlik is the new album of the Turkish Coldwave/Post-Punk group She Past Away.
Soluk is the first track of this album and get us into the swing of things. The track is dynamic and perfect for the dancefloor, just as Narin Yalnizlık which is the eponym track of this album. Asimilasyon, Katarsis and Gerçekten Özleyince are three tracks with both a repetitive and lively beat. Uzakta is slow and nagging. Hayaller? and Uçtu Belirsizliğe are a track which give way to the instrument. It is reinforce by the fact that the voice seems far away. Yanımda and Kuruyordu Nehir are more electro than the other tracks. The sound seems colder and in the raw. The album closed on İçe Kapanış II, an instrumental track which is heavy and bulky.
This album is real pleasure to listen to. It proves that we don’t need to be in the late 70’s to do some good coldwave. She Past Away perfectly capture the essence of the genre and mix it with the good amount of modernity.
